LG U8120 review from Australia
"Good phone, let down by a faulty battery"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
Battery won't hold charge for more than 2 days on standby and is getting worse. It cannot be charged to 100% no matter how long the charger is left plugged in. Original standby battery life was over 6 days.
General comments?
I had an LG U8110 for 6 months before I lost it. I had no problems with that phone, so I bought the LG U8120 based on the quality of LG's previous product. Unfortunately after 8 months the U8120's battery barely holds a charge and is getting progressively worse. The battery warranty is only 6 months, and a replacement genuine battery costs AU$50. For what it's worth, the older phone with a good battery had cells made in Korea. The dud cells were made in Japan.
Unlike other users, I have not experienced any microphone or firmware problems.
