Motorola V220 review from United States of America
"I would not recommend this phone"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
I have been with my new cell phone company since August of 2005. This phone is my 3rd Motorola and my second V220.
The first V220's camera stopped working.
The second has run into a host of problems from the functions ceasing to work the way that they were set up. For instance the caller ID screen on the exterior of the phone has stopped working. Each time that I set it up to display incoming calls, it does not respond.
Answering the phone when the folder is open has ceased working as well.
In addition to these issues, the phone is getting lousy reception. My wife has the V220 as well, and we both have similar issues with reception. We blamed the cell phone provider until my wife misplaced her phone and borrowed a Nokia, and had instantaneous improvement in reception in all of the areas where the V220 struggled.
Camera was lacking compared to the Samsung that I had prior to switching carriers.
General comments?
Speaker phone was amazing.
Ringtones were limited.
