Nokia 9300 Communicator review from Norway
"By far the worst phone I've ever had"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
The web-reader crashes every-time I've tried to use it, especially when I have to log on to something like Outlook Web Access.
When talking via a Bluetooth-headset, the phone locks itself and it's not possible to use it at all unless the battery is taken out.
Sometimes the phone in itself crashes for no apparent reason. The only solution is to remove the battery for a few seconds.
The PC-sync never really works - the Nokia PC Suite claims that there is no phone connected even when it's in the original docking station and connected via its USB-cable.
General comments?
My phone is actually a 9300 Communicator, but it is in general the same as a 9500, just without the camera and Wi-Fi.
My phone has spent 7 months at Nokia's service center (6 times!) since I bought it in May '05. The quality on it is by far the worst I have ever experienced, and I strongly suggest that if you need a smart-phone that works, buy something else.
The sound quality isn't any good, and it loses the signal somewhat easily.
The processor is way too slow to actually do anything, and the support for EDGE is absolutely pointless because it can't process the data fast enough anyway.
