Nokia 6230i review from United Kingdom
"A nice little phone, but could be better"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
It got wet in the rain once and all the buttons started doing things I didn't want them to do. This resulted in me putting the security codes in wrong and having to replace my sim card. My fault really - I should have just waited for it to dry.
The phone also sometimes switches itself off, and doesn't always vibrate when set to do so.
General comments?
I got this phone as an upgrade from the Nokia 6230, expecting it to do everything its predecessor did and more.
I have to say I was a little disappointed. It's still a good phone, but there are a few little things you'd expect it to do that the old one did, like automatically deleting text messages from your inbox as new ones come in, and sending group texts to people. Just little things I guess I took for granted with my old one.
Otherwise, it's as easy to use as any Nokia I've had (I've stayed loyal to Nokia for years now), and although it can be a bit slow, I still like it.
The screen and camera quality are very good with a variety of pre loaded pictures to choose from. One downfall is that age old problem of dust getting behind the casing.
The battery needs regular charging too, especially if you leave the bluetooth on.
With the added features of MP3 playback and all the little extras, although I've highlighted a number of annoying bits, it's a good little phone with bags of extras. I'd recommend it to a friend!
