Motorola V635 review from Canada

The screen started to freeze, and the battery doesn't last as long as it used to.

At first this phone seemed like a good idea. It has over a mega-pixel camera and an mp3 player, it seemed like a great all around phone.

Problems started with about two months of ownership. The screen froze and my friend Andy was calling (according to the phone) for about 3 days straight. I took it back to Radio Shack (the source) and they told me to take the battery out and wait a minute to reset it. I've had to do this many more times since. It's like blowing into the old Nintendo games before you play them. Needless to say, having to do this doesn't make me happy.

Like I said at the beginning, this seemed like an all around phone, it'd do everything. Since I bought it, I have yet to load one song on it, and have had problems trying to figure out how to get the (1.2Mp only) photos off the phone and onto the computer to send. Now, I could send the pictures from the phone, but I'm too cheap to pay the extra charges; also I'm too cheap to download more games for the phone.

I used to be a fan of Motorola until I had an Audiovox. The Audiovox was good, but I wanted to switch to Rogers. Nothing seemed to have everything like the V635, so I went back to Motorola. Now I'm waiting to the point when I can get another discount with a new contract.
