Nokia 1600 review from New Zealand
"An elegant basic phone which promises more than it delivers"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
Nothing so far.
General comments?
I have just purchased the phone and here is my opinion of it so far.
Its screen in standby mode (I have it set to show date and calendar) is virtually unreadable.
Contrary to reports on the Nokia 1600, it does not appear to have WAP or the ability to download ring tones or games. There is no mention of either function in the manual or on the phone's menu.
The polyphonic ring tones lack authority.
Apart from the above, the Nokia is an attractive phone that is easy to use.
