Motorola RAZR V3 review from Canada

External speakers/speakerphone have become "crackly".

I have the 2nd Generation of the RAZR: the V3C... Before you read any further, keep in mind that I'm on a CDMA network (not GSM) and my carrier has left most of the phone's features "unlocked"...

Call quality is fantastic on both ends (caller & receiver)

Camera is among the best you can get in a phone these days.

Video quality is rather poor, but really... what do you expect?!?!

Battery life is average at about three days with approximately 1.5 hours of talk time per day (I also keep my phone on overnight as it doubles as my alarm clock!). You really can't expect much more from a battery as thin and sleek as the one in the RAZR! Using the Bluetooth function or MP3 player will significantly reduce battery life as well.

There is no 2.5mm headphone jack! If you want to use a headset, you either need to go with Bluetooth, or find yourself a headset that connects via mini-USB (not too hard to find).

The mini-USB also allows you to connect the phone to your computer to upload/download music, images, videos, etc... If you wish to use this feature, you will need a copy of Motorola Mobile Phone Tools (can be purchased separately or will be included by your service provider).

My only serious complaint is that compared to my previous LG phone, the menu system is at first somewhat daunting and difficult to navigate...
