Sharp GX30 review from New Zealand

"Almost perfect"

What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?

Charger needs to be wiggled a bit before it connects properly with the insides of the phone.

Very occasionally, it doesn't receive calls at all when people are trying to ring.

Battery life is unpredictable.

General comments?

This is a very easy to use, fun phone. I bought it mainly for the 1 megapixel camera (the best you could get in 2004).

The camera is excellent, although it's hard to take a photo that isn't blurry as the phone is very sensitive to movement.

Removable SD memory card is awesome, transferring music and photos from phone to computer is very easy.

Ringtones and the ONE game (!) are pretty budget, but it's easy enough to download new ones.

The MP3 player is excellent with great sound quality, although I rarely use it.

Bluetooth sucks, can't connect with other phones.

Keypad is slow when texting. Hard to hold ergonomically, feels too low down.

Very hardy phone, have dropped & stood on several times, still goes well.

The phone is quite large, however it is packed with features so I guess that's not unrealistic.
