Sony Ericsson K750i review from Belgium
"Many features, but totally unreliable"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
The phone in itself is a beautiful device, with many functions and the best camera I've encountered in a mobile phone. It has however several major flaws.
First, the bugs. The phone crashed for the first time two days after purchase - I did nothing fancy with it except making phone calls - and the situation has not improved despite flashing to the latest firmware version. It randomly crashed to a white screen every few days.
Secondly, the joystick. Mine stopped responding after 6 months, making it quite hard to use the phone.
Third, the screen (or something driving the screen) broke down, with as a result, a white screen or an interference pattern. It's back to the shop.
Note that the phone was used in a normal way, and not damaged at all. This is not what I expect from an expensive phone.
General comments?
Excellent phone book, camera.
Usable web browser.
The media player is OK for the occasional MP3, but not especially user-friendly.
The FM radio is a nice feature, though it can only be used with the hands-free cable attached.
