Nokia 6600 review from South Africa
"Tough, reliable and competent"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
Sometimes plays the irritating Nokia tune, despite you having chosen another ring tone.
Nothing else!!
General comments?
My cousin got this phone in 2005, and I traded my Nokia 6101 with her and got the 6600. She said it was too difficult to operate.
I have had the 6600 for about 4 months now, and I love it. It's the best phone I have ever had!
It takes some time to get to know the Symbian operating system, but once you get to know it, it's a breeze to operate the phone.
I like the messaging and the phone book outlay.
The battery lasts quite long, about 3 days with heavy use, and recharges in about 1.5hours!
This phone was launched in late 2003/2004 in SA, which makes it quite old, but the VGA camera takes good pics.
The only things that I really miss are larger memory and MP3 capability.
