Nokia 6600 review from Turkey
"Saved by the Symbian"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
After switching on the phone, the first attempt to display the menu sometimes takes more than half a minute. It's quite annoying if you are in a hurry. However, the later menu displayings are very fast. Leaving it running all the time and never turning it off is the solution.
The 640*480 camera is weak overall.
Video is even worse.
Bluetooth connection software for the PC is really messy.
Connection breaks easily and often when transferring data or pictures.
General comments?
Despite its weaknesses, 6600 is a lovely gear for the geek. This phone is like the pocket C64 of our generation.
I use my 6600 mainly as a game console - there are thousands of quality software and games for the S60 series.
