Kyocera 2325 review from United States of America
"The Geo Metro of cell phones"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
Replaced battery due to reduced talk time and standby time.
Screen is lightly scratched, even though it has a plastic cover. The plastic cover collects grime and I have to take it off and wipe it out every week or so. This is a small price to pay for a great phone.
The buttons are fairly small and need to be pressed down hard to dial.
General comments?
I have had this phone for almost three years, and I couldn't have bought a better phone. This is a very bare-bones phone, as the screen is large black pixels and there is no camera.
It gets great reception and the voice quality is good.
It at least has text messaging, a calculator, and a few fun games for features. The datebook entries are very easy to make.
The lack of fancy features leaves the phone's menu layout near perfection. It has the same layout and interface as most other cheap Kyocera phones.
The keyguard is set by holding down one button for two seconds. In my friend's phone, you have to navigate a few menus to get to it.
Silent mode is also set by holding down a single button for two seconds. It is turned off the same way. The vibrate function is very strong yet quiet.
The rings are of a beeper type, which is a nice break from the annoying things people play on their phones these days.
Lighting of screen and buttons in a nice blue color and very bright.
I have had a leather cover on the phone since I got it, and it has done a great job of protecting the case. The rubber buttons are unprotected and show no wear at all.
I got this phone through Verizon, but you can't get it from them anymore. Kyocera still sells it without a plan, and I am almost certain Verizon could get it set up with their service.
This is a great first cell phone because of how easy all the features are to operate.
