Motorola C139 review from United States of America

There is no speaker phone (if there is one, I can't figure out how to use it).

The screen resolution stinks.

The standard ring tones are pretty cheesy, and the service provider claims there aren't any downloadable ring tones available in my area yet.

Needs more choices for screen backgrounds, the three included are pretty dumb.

More games would be nice.

Even though I take good care of the phone, there are already some scratches on the screen.

I had been wanting a cell phone for awhile, and although I wanted a flip-phone, I ended up getting the C-139.

For the price I paid for the phone ($49.99), I think I got a fairly good deal. One of my family members has a similar Motorola, but with a smaller screen, and it cost twice as much! There were some cheaper phones, but they didn't even have a color screen, and I didn't want to go there.

The user-interface is great, much more advanced then our old Nokia phone. Navigation through the menus is very easy, you won't have much trouble finding what you want.

I'm somewhat disappointed with the screen resolution, it's nothing compared to the resolution on my friend's RAZR. Oh well, what do you expect for a $50 phone?

All in all, I would recommend this phone if you want something cheap and don't expect many features. If you want something more advanced with better ring tones, screen resolution and a bigger screen, buy a RAZR!
