Motorola RAZR V3 review from United States of America
"Motorola? Never again"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
I bought this directly from Cingular as an upgrade phone for a Christmas present for myself in 2005. It worked for several months, then it would turn off in midcall and take a long time to come back on. Many times, I would find it dead when I pick it up. It is still under warranty from Cingular; however when I try to return it, they offer a refurbished silver replacement and my phone is like new and black.
The problems I’ve experienced can be resolved by folding a small square post it not – not the regular size and jamming it in the battery case. I’m hobbling along on it until some non-Motorola thing catches my fancy. I would never buy another Motorola phone. They should have tested it better and worked with their vendors to offer better replacement than a beat up refurbished phone of a different color. Manufacturers need to be accountable for their products. All I can do is never buying from this manufacturer again.
The phone book sucks too, but everyone knows that.
I understand that in addition to the battery connection, the charging/USB port on the side is extremely likely to fail, so I am VERY careful how I plug it in.
