Nokia 6310i review from United States of America
"A very nice phone, surpasses many newer phones today"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
The reception eventually did go in and out sometimes, but I believe that was a Cingular issue, not a problem with the phone. I miss ATTWS.
Requires an adapter for headset.
No mp3 or camera, but that wasn't available back then anyway.
Bigger than more modern phones, but still very light and thin.
Microphone does pick up a lot of background noise though.
Nokia software not the best. Doesn't always see the phone.
Wow, not many other problems really.
General comments?
This phone was the best Nokia (out of 5) I have ever owned.
It worked all the time, and menus were very quick, even quicker than my 6230.
Has bluetooth and infrared.
Has nice, bright blue monochromatic screen. Probably helped with the battery life. Many people liked this blue screen.
By the way, battery life is unbeatable. With little to no phone usage, the battery would go 10-13 days. Days!! That's with the Lithium Polymer battery that came with the phone. Plus, the battery is interchangeable with the older 51xx and 61xx series phones.
Reception was very good, especially considering it is a 1900 Mhz phone.
Voice quality and speaker quality are also good, with no background noise.
The build quality and overall performance are very good. I could have sold this phone a long time ago, but I still have it as a backup.
Also it has a rear antenna port for adding a portable or car antenna for greater reception.
No external antenna like earlier Nokias, but performance is still good.
