Besides for its size, it's just a few small steps from an excellent phone

Nokia 6265i review from Canada

"Unreliable, but a good signal, in a very thick package"

What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?

The screen is easily scratched. I have many scratches on it just from taking it out of it's case.

It's being fixed for the second time. This is what has gone wrong:

1. The phone stopped starting up. After the TELUSMobility/Nokia animation, it hung at a white screen.

2. Software glitches. The interface was being extremely slow (er than it's usual slowness). When I took a picture, half the time it would give an error message saying "Cannot save.". Sometimes, it would randomly not be able to access data. Sometimes it would randomly drop calls, even when I had full strength. Oh, yeah. It also randomly rebooted. Also, the battery door comes off with almost no force on the door.

General comments?

The phone has bad battery life. I can keep it on all day, and at the end of the day, it will be crying "Low battery!".

The ring tones are very good. I love the ring tone Jink.aac.

It's web browser is very fast and it works well.

Like all Nokia phones, it gets very good reception. I almost always have 5 bars.

It's very thick. It doesn't exactly fit in to my pocket nicely.

It's camera is great for taking pictures. But the video is absolutely HORRIBLE!

The interface isn't very nice to use. The icons are quite annoying, but that's TELUS' fault. They edited the icons. A lot of other Nokia phones, for example, the Nokia 6126, have a very instantaneous menu system. The 6265i's system is extremly slow and laggy.

Nokia, you can do better than this. I'd honestly hope this is just my phone, and not every phone. If that is every phone, bad job, Nokia.
