Motorola E815 review from United States of America
"Absolutely love the phone. Absolutely hate the chargers"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
The first phone was replaced by insurance because it was dropped, resulting in a damaged antenna mast. This seemed superficial at first, but then I noticed that the signal became dismal in certain areas where it used to be decent.
The first phone did not vibrate nearly as well as the second one does.
Other than that, neither phone has given me any problems save for the lousy chargers.
General comments?
I love this phone, until the time comes to charge it. You must then coddle the chargers and make sure they are plugged in JUST the right way or else the phone may say it is charging and then hours later you realize it has, in fact, NOT been charging. I do not know who designed these chargers, but they are an abomination thrust on an otherwise excellent setup. My Nokia and LG phones that I had before this had superior chargers that were not Mickey-Mouse in their operation. The ones for this Motorola are misleading because they do click into place, but they still wiggle around once there and they do not make a positive connection.
Now, like I said the phone itself has been excellent. I have enjoyed using it very much, as it has a lot of features such as Bluetooth, and it is so very easy to use. This phone also draws a lot of compliments from other people who are wowed by the relatively large displays. The keypad is the essence of simplicity, and the buttons have a nice feel when clicked.
I would buy another Motorola, but I will examine the chargers first next time. I think my next phone will be one of the Blackberry or Palm deals, so that I can text easier.
