Sanyo Katana review from United States of America
"Excellent looks!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
Nothing.
General comments?
The Katana is a very durable phone for being plastic. It has been dropped repeatedly and thrown many times. I was concerned about the strength of the phone, considering the old Sanyo SCP-6200 I previously owned was titanium and was not a concern for durability problems. I was very shocked when the Katana was completely submerged at a Six Flags water ride and still worked! All I did was take out the battery and shook it off and it was fine.
The camera quality, while not the best is still much clearer than my Motorola Razr and Motorola's Slvr's and Krzr's that I have used. It takes a very short time to learn how to navigate through the phone, as it's set up very user friendly. While it's basically a Razr copy except for the lack of a video camera and a few other features, it has far better picture quality, screen resolution, and is far more durable. I would still recommend the Razr, it's just that you have to be more careful with it.
Bottom line: If you look past the lack of features, the Katana will please you with its looks, durability, camera quality and user friendliness.
