Audiovox 6600 review from Canada
"Fantastic for business, but not for the military!"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
Phone has volatile memory... IE, battery dies, you lose everything, and I mean everything. If the battery falls off, see above.
The stylus slot in the phone was getting weak and stylus's kept falling out. Bought 2 packs of 3 over 2 years.
The screws that hold the face plate to the phone disappeared, and I had to use glasses screws to fix it.
Phone fell off barrack box on mission and smashed the LCD screen, rendering the phone inoperable. DONE!
General comments?
Overall, the phone was fantastic. Loved the GUI and was great for playing music videos or movies when bored.
Blue-tooth worked well at first, but then over years not so good. Maybe it was the headset, I don't know.
Ring-tones are what's in the phone. You can make your own, but it's a pain.
Interface with my laptop was seamless, and easy to use and set up.
All in all, I was very happy with it.
