Samsung a717 review from United States of America
"A decent, although cheaply built, phone"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
The screen half has started to detach from the base of the phone; it sort of just dangles.
The front screen cover has fallen off - weak glue I suppose.
General comments?
Samsung A717 through AT&T wireless - not quite sure why this site doesn't have these on here, they're pretty common, and I thought AT&T was one of the biggest telecommunication corporations in the USA.
This phone is easy enough to use.
The user interface, however, is slow. It takes a second or two to react to most inputs, and that can be quite frustrating if you're in a rush.
There is no silent setting. There is a meeting profile where everything is muted except for the ringer. Second best is Quiet, where it vibrates. Very inconvenient for places like actual meetings, because ringing/vibrating phones are unacceptable, so the phone gets turned off and I miss important calls.
