Sony Ericsson K550i review from Mexico

"Amazing"

What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?

The OS insists that you keep the active cover open while composing MMS.

Internet access can turn itself on at will while listening to the radio or the media player.

Extremely small and delicate keys.

No MEGA-BASS support.

Awful picture quality on dark environments, even with the LED flash on.

128MB M2 card. What are you supposed to do with it?

General comments?

I like this phone a lot; being a Cyber-Shot on a budget, it's got a pretty good call quality and above average camera quality that can be tweaked with updated drivers (not supported by SE).

Overall, I think this is an amazing little budget phone - its construction feels solid and you have easy access to its expansion port, which can accept M2 from 128MB to 8GB. As with all SE offerings, the OS is pretty easy to use, and all PIM apps are synchronizable with your desktop PIM (Outlook, Entourage, etcetera).
