Sony Ericsson K800i review from United Kingdom
"A class act"
What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?
Navigation joystick has become unresponsive.
Software frequently crashes during Bluetooth hands-free operation.
General comments?
I've had this phone for nearly two years and I still really like it.
The look and feel suit me. It's not too geeky and it's not a fashion victim's bit of bling either.
The functionality level is great. The main features are all highly competent: the phonebook is easy to use, text is OK, music player is great, still camera is great.
My only criticisms are towards the video mode (complete waste of time), the age-old problem of navigator joysticks becoming hard to use after a while, and the fact that the sound goes dead on at least a quarter of my Bluetooth hands free calls that I make in the car. Switching the phone off sorts it out sometimes, but frequently I have to remove then re-fit the battery to reset it, which isn't great when you're driving!
Overall, this is by far the best phone I've owned, and the first that I've chosen to keep beyond the end of my contract.
