This review is based on experience with two GU87s, my wife's and mine:
Silver paint comes off easily.
Reception on my phone is pretty bad, but good on my wife's.
Ring volume is low. Speaker-phone volume is ridiculously low. Doesn't answer a call when flipping the phone. Graphics are dull.
Good screen, good camera, good voice quality, good build quality (dropped and stepped on often, but holds well).
Occasionally doesn't recognize an incoming call, only on one phone though.

Two years later we still own the two phones. They still work pretty well, though both sometimes turn off and back on again when a call comes in. That plus the reception issues on one of the phones is still annoying. The speaker, speaker phone and ring volume are also way too low.
However, when I realize these phones are 5-6 years old, never serviced and been dropped very often, I believe I shouldn't complain much. The best feature is the camera and screen - better than many current models, surprisingly. Buy only if they're cheap and you're not a heavy user.
