Flex cable gone ($100 fix).
Antenna housing gone, so the antenna won't stay in ($30 fix).
What a piece of crap. From the start the antenna would fall out, then the flex cable went. When I get it back from the warranty work, I will either sell it or smash it on the driveway in front of our house, then drive over it, then huck it in the bird bath, then throw it into the pool, then onto the BBQ. That's how much I hate it. I don't care how much I paid for it, I'm buying a new one.
I agree totally. I threw mine against the wall and luckily it will never spoil my day again.
I now have a Nokia and I am so much happier with it!! I dropped it a story onto concrete, the case popped off, that's all. It fell out of my pocket on my friend's front porch (during the winter), his dog chewed on it for about an hour, pieces all over the yard. All I did is buy a new case for 10 bucks, works good as new.
We've had two of these for over a year now, used daily, and have no problems whatsoever. Q: Why would you pay $100 to fix a cell phone when you can get a new one for less?? (we got ours free with a 3 year contract, and they gave us a portable DVD player as well!)
