Apart from a scratchy screen, all is well.
I upgraded my 3510 after 4 years, many, many drops and a swim in a cup of orange juice (ironically, it's an Orange phone).
6070 looks nicer and has more features, hardly any of which I use. The ring is far too quiet and the vibration is not strong enough, unlike the 3510 which was very loud.
The camera quality is very poor.
I don't see the point in having phones that are cameras and videos when you can't even hear them ring. In fact I don't see the point in having phones that are anything other than phones.
I totally agree. The mobile phone is used as a phone, an SMS-service, a notepad and an alarm-clock 99,998% of the time. All other features are just for show. If I wanted to take a photo of something to remember, I would surely bring my camera along. No phone today offers 10x optical zoom (it can't be done because of the mobile phones' physical properties and lens construction), and the megapixel-fairytale is just a marketing trick, so it is not yet time to use them as all-round electronic gadgets.
My Nokia 6070 sometimes becomes crazy. Sound disappears. When I try to play sounds from the Tones Gallery it says "File is damaged". Then I restart my phone (simply turn off and turn on again) and the same files work normally.
Like some Filipinos, my phone is a Nokia, too; it's a Nokia 6070. (well to be honest, Nokia's popularity here is waning)
The feature that I really enjoy is the radio because I get to hear my fave songs from FM stations. But, yes, other features are simply less than good. The quality of the photos from this phone is poor. Even though you turn on the night mode when taking pictures at night or in dark places, it doesn't help. What's the point in incorporating the camera to the phone when it won't work well?!
Lakan uhay.
