Motorola L6 from Australia - Comments

"Aesthetically pleasing. Practically hopeless"

What things have gone wrong with the mobile phone?

Battery life has dropped off alarmingly (phone is only 8 months old).

Occasionally will not switch on without removal/installation of the battery, or plugging into mains charger.

General comments?

Looks and feels good. Unfortunately that's where the good news ends. Has an irritating fault where the phone will not switch on without removal/reinstallation of the battery.

Reception is terrible, to the point where all you receive are "missed calls", without the phone ever actually ringing.

The camera "on" buttons are on the side of the handset, and are easily activated by mistake. Not really a big issue, as the camera itself is worse than useless.

The most annoying thing is the inadequacy of the software associated with the SMS function - it is unbelievably slow and completely illogical - for example the key sequence to read/delete a message from the inbox is the same as read/resend in the outbox. Net result? Lots of messages sent twice by mistake.

Motorola? Goodbye Moto... never again!!!

I completely agree with you. I am having all the same problems as you are with the Motorola L6. And to think getting a new phone was a good idea...
