Very few downsides of this great Samsung product. The whole front side of the phone, including the external LCD, is covered by a single piece of glass (plastic). Although this is a really sharp eye catcher, it is prone to oily fingerprints. I am constantly wiping it with a cloth if I am lucky enough to have one around. Usually it's on my pants or shirt.
Great phone over all. This was Sprint's free phone in August '07. I have had several "free" phones, but this one should cost money. MSRP $270.00.
I am not sure why the reviewer called the review "Great Battery Life." I only get 12 hours of usage without having to recharge. And that is with the phone merely being on -- no calls, no texting, no pictures.
I agree, the battery has short life and gets pretty warm after 2-3 minutes of use.
