I've had no problems so far.
The LG VX3200 is an excellent little flip phone. I believe that this phone will outlast the contract by far.
This phone is built very sturdy and I doubt that it will break anytime soon.
I too have a VX 3200, and it is indeed a very sturdy and reliable phone. I've dropped it several times -- once hard enough to make the battery come out -- and it still works fine. The battery life is just OK -- I have to recharge every 3-4 days -- but that's not a big deal.
It's not a fancy phone, but for making/receiving calls, it's unbeatable.
I hate this phone, it is the worst phone ever with awful reception!!!
Get a better phone!!!
I also have a VX3200 and I think that it is an extremely durable phone. The reception for me is usually very good. I have dropped mine multiple times and it still works fine.
Battery life is probably not the longest, usually 3-4 days depending on how many calls are made and received.
Overall, I think that this phone will definitely last the length of my contract.
I'm not a fan of this phone. I've had it for a year and 8 months (I'm counting until I get a new one!) and I have had many problems. In areas where other cell phones with the same provider have full service, I will only have one or two bars.
The phone has recently also stopped taking a charge, it's not the battery because I bought a new one. However, it is very sturdy. My brother also has one, and he drops it all the time and it hasn't broken.
Well my wife has had this phone for a year now and for the past 8 months now, the phone has had a charge problem. The phone will be fully charged and she would make one phone call and the battery would die. Well today (12/4) we went to the Metro store that just open in our area and the clerk told us that the phone can be over charged and the problems can start from there (the battery would bulge a little as a sign of over charging). Well to make a long story short, we got a replacement battery and everything seems OK now.
